The Communication Coach Simulation Learning System was first architected in the mid-1990s by me and my team in a Windows 9x format and deployed to a wide user base.
A few years later a massive overhaul was required for the product to remain relevant to large corporate customers and was then transitioned to SaaS form running in a browser with servers either on-premise or via hosting providers like AWS as well as run on the local CPU depending on the customer's environmental need.
The system included a customized, media intensive set of content, so construction included in-house studio work with voice actors, producers, editors, and producers. The work was intense but the team had loads of fun building each deployed system - 5000 simulations were produced before I left the firm and the system remains in production today.
My team and I deployed this system to large corporations in various industries including highly regulated verticals like financial services, utilities, and healthcare. I managed this product for over a decade with regular updates/releases based on customer stories and A/B testing approaches.
